Today, we are proud to announce the introduction of multilingual support for existing and new enterprise customers.

What is the feature all about?

Multilingual support allows Whatfix flows to work on HTML pages in any language. In simpler terms, Whatfix tips will appear in native language of the web page when a live run is triggered, i.e. localized as per your needs. Please find the list of supported languages in the article.
Whatfix flows created using our extension are auto-magically generated into multiple formats. Hence, when you create flows in multiple languages, we have also introduced support for article, slideshow, video and live run formats.

How does it work?

All you need to do is:

1) Download the language files
2) Get the content localized
3) Upload the files back to Whatfix
Whatfix then automatically picks the language of the application for an end-user and displays the flows/guides accordingly in that language to the user.

What’s the benefit?

Users of your application would now be able to get help (and other support formats, if integrated) within the application in their preferred language (selected as part of personal preference in the web application).

That’s the best part! It is supported at no extra cost.

How do I get it?

If you are interested in this feature, all you need to do is inform us which languages support is required and the same would be enabled by us. The flow steps and various buttons appearing within a flow gets converted into the native languages; this conversion has to be handled by businesses at their end.
Whatfix provides property files for respective languages which can be downloaded. Steps to be followed are defined in Admin–>Languages for every account.

How does it work?

The admin of the business account has control on the translations. It is recommended to commence with conversion once the flows are ready in the account.
