What is Beacon?

A beacon is a trigger or signal used to draw your user’s attention to a specific element in your application. Beacons ensure that the user does not miss any communication that they need to be aware of to understand the functions of the application. In addition to drawing the user’s attention, you can also link existing content to the beacon and provide additional information.

A beacon comes in handy in situations like a new product release, new features, announcements, quick help to navigate users, etc. The idea is to catch the attention and trigger the appropriate action.
